About

Jayde created Live Bright Physiotherapy to provide a safe space for her clients to learn about movement and rehabilitate injuries. She has had a large variety of experience working both in the hospital, private practice and elite sport setting which has given her a vast understanding of how the body moves through all stages of life. This has included exposure to all areas of physiotherapy from neurological rehabilitation and intensive care to elite athletes. She has found a love for sport and exercise physiotherapy and with an undergraduate degree in exercise and sports science, she is particularly skilled at movement analysis and exercise prescription. THE LIVE BRIGHT JOURNEY

Every journey will be unique and everything is 100% individualised to meet your needs. However, this is a general idea of what you can expect at Live Bright Physiotherapy.

STEP 2: INTERVENTION

In your session, you may receive some hands on treatment such as massage, dry needling/acupuncture, manual therapy etc. to assist with pain relief. However, at Live Bright Physiotherapy, we believe movement is medicine and our go to treatment is an individualised rehabilitation/exercise plan to target any weakness, tightness and movement dysfunction. Don’t worry, we won’t give you a million random exercises that you won’t want to do.

STEP 1: ASSESSMENT

Your first appointment will involve a thorough initial assessment conducted by a physiotherapist. This will involve a subjective interview where we will ask you everything we need to know to help you. Then you will be taken through a physical assessment and movement analysis relating to your presenting complaint

STEP 3: EDUCATION

Understanding what is going on and why is fundamental in helping you recover. If you know why we are prescribing certain exercises it will make it that much easier to stick to them. No question is a silly one.

STEP 5: FOLLOW UP

Whilst we love our clients, our goal is to get you to the point that they don’t need us anymore. Depending on your circumstance will depend on how often and how many times we need to see you, but if we recommend another session, it’s for your benefit, not ours, we promise!

STEP 4: MOVE

This bit is up to you. After your session, you will be given an individualised exercise program and now it’s time for you to execute and reap the rewards.
